Roleplay Adventures is an online community dedicated primarily to text-based roleplaying. We have a wide variety of roleplays, covering just about every genre, and new and original ones keep popping up all the time. In addition to the great variety of themes, we allow a lot of freedom in roleplaying: here you think your way, you write your way, you play your way. We won't tell you what to post. We have some experienced and talented roleplayers who will present a good challenge to those of you who are as experienced and talented as them, and we've got a tutorial section full of tips and tricks so less experienced roleplayers can become better and learn; however, we'd like to stress that we're not an elitist forum in the least bit and even our most experienced writers enjoy roleplaying with relatively new writers.
In addition to roleplaying, we have sections for other things, such as the news & current events forum, where we talk about the latest and hottest news, be it political, scientific, humanistic, legal or otherwise in nature; the serious discussion forum, with interesting and sometimes controversial topics about life, the universe and everything; the entertainment forum, home to conversations, discussions, reviews and recommendations about videogames, films, books, music and more; the creativity forum, where all those of you who are talented in one form of art or another can post your creations and get reviewed by others; and the downtown forum, which is the relaxed section of our forum and is full of forum games and easy, non-serious threads for when you just want to hang out.

The colors and layout of the forum are appealing and very easy to read. Good use of orange to complement the background color. Sub Forums are displayed horizontally and easy to find for each category/section.
There is a large area for role playing fans, which is the main topic of the site. This includes separate sections for fantasy, science fiction, parody, battles, and mature topics. Each section has corresponding sub forums. The site also includes a "general topics" section with popular categories like news and current events, entertainment, downtime, and a creative forum area.
As a guest I was able to view all of the topics and threads and really get an idea about the site and members. The community seems to be very active and there is a good presence and participation by the admins on the site as far as what I could see. Almost every section had many new posts from today or yesterday, further showing that the forum is active and lively.
I found the announcement and rules area at the top of the forum very well laid out and comprehensive. There are multiple easy to find sticky topics that explain the rules so there are no questions late. Overall this site is very appealing and is attractive to role playing fans. We recommend it highly.
